Hey there, I’m Roel, a 30-year-old enthusiast deeply engaged in the worlds of UX and Development. My journey kicked off with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication & Multimedia Design from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in 2017.
I started my professional adventure as a UX Designer, a role I enjoyed for a few years. But my coding curiosity never faded. Luckily, my jobs allowed me to merge these two passions, enabling me to create designs and bring them to life through coding. With courses and training in multiple front-end languages under my belt, I now proudly wear the developer hat too, and I aim to keep the synergy between UX and Development alive.
Outside work, I lead a vibrant life packed with hobbies. You’ll find me creating music, going for runs, and occasionally gaming during the evenings. On weekends, it’s all about hitting the trails on my mountain bike or cruising on my motorcycle. And when it’s time to unwind, I immerse myself in the melodies of my vinyl records or indulge in binge-watching captivating series.
